Placing the Cabinet Configurators

 

 

 

 

If this is your first time opening the room explicitly (by itself, not in the context of the master model), the name of the room in the browser will be the name that was automatically assigned to the room’s assembly file by iLogic upon placement. Just slowly click the name of the assembly (at the top of the browser) until it highlights, then rename it to Reception. You are NOT renaming the file, you are renaming the browser node. The files would need to be renames through Windows Explorer, and would screw things up royally. Leave them alone.

Now to get the cabinets where they need to be. For no real reason other than an over-active attention to detail, I want cabinets 1 and 2 to make up the reception desk, and 3, 4, and 5 to be the ones on the back wall. To easily identify what is what, you can click on a cabinet in the window and look in the browser to identify it, or, if you are looking for something specific as I am, select it in the browser to identify it in the window…

… then I dragged it over to the room and added a Mate constraint to the bottom of the cabinet, then to the floor of the room…
