Core-collapse supernova explosions are among the most fascinating events in the universe, but the detailed explosion engines, nuclear equation of state, and multimessenger signals remain elusive. In this project, we modify and improve the tabulated nuclear equation of state from http://stellarcollapse.org. In a typical tabulated nuclear equation of state, the table is constructed based on three major thermodynamics quantities, i.e., density, temperature, and electron fraction. Therefore, an expensive root finding solver through a Newton-Raphson search or bisection is necessary when either temperature or electron fraction is unknown. We avoid this issue by constructing a new energy based table, which is the most frequently used mode in hydrodynamics simulations, together with sub tables that are pre-calculated for temperature, pressure, and entropy modes. Accurate and efficient results have been achieved, and the solver is accelerated with GPU acceleration with Cuda.
