iLogic Tutorial – 12 – Back Cutter and Bottom Sketches

The back cutter sketch is pretty much the same at the front one with the following differences: The sketch is started on the Cutter Back Plane, the sketch is named Cutter Back, there are two lines to project to begin with instead of one, and the dimension is the formula Drawer_Thickness minus Cutter_Offset.

Now turn on the visibility of all sketches except the Cutter_Side_Profile, and turn of the visibility of all sketch dimensions. Create a new plane on the bottom end of the line that represents the bottom of the dado on the Drawer Elevation sketch as shown below…

…and begin a sketch on it. Name the Plane Drawer Bottom Plane and the sketch Drawer Bottom Profile. With the sketch still active, look down on the sketch by clicking the Top face of the View Cube, then draw a rectangle around the center point as seen below. The profile seen to the right of the rectangle is the Drawer Elevation profile.
