Now trim off the ends of the lines similar to what you did earlier when trimming the dado rectangles on the front and side profile sketches…

..and like before, when you finish trimming, you need to right click and choose Split from the context menu and split both angled lines at the lines just created…

…leaving you with a sketch that looks similar to the one below. The status bar in the lower right hand corner of the screen should now read “Two dimensions needed”, and your sketch should look similar to the one below…

 Now grab the Collinear Constraint tool from the Constrain panel select both segments of each split line. Splitting a line causes one of the segments to become angularly unconstrained, and if your intent is to still have a straight, albeit segmented line, then using the Collinear constraint will do the job quite nicely.
