Onsite Autodesk Inventor Consultation

Although consulting can be done via the web in many cases, onsite consultation is always an option, and can be of immense benefit in cases where a company’s design/manufacturing processes are getting behind the times. If you are still creating 2D designs, or simply switched to Autodesk Inventor without a plan for implementing Digital Prototyping, you are way behind the times.

“When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people:
those who let it happen, those who make it happen,
and those who wonder what happened.”
~John M. Richardson, Jr.

Companies working with Autodesk Inventor should be Digital Prototyping, not just sticking together 3D entities in an attempt to get drawings that look like the ones they made with AutoCAD. 3D design is not just a taller version of 2D. If you went down that path, you need a course correction. Another sign of problems is a large file structure where every possible iteration of a product’s design is stored. As with manufacturing,  the design process should be JIT (just in time) whenever possible, and should have a Continuous Improvement Process baked right in ― not something people are supposed to do but just don’t.

Our Onsite Inventor Consultation program is designed to:

  • Identify existing and potential problems with your design process
  • Identify design processes that are working well
  • Create a report outlining a way forward

The report may include video, model samples, file structure samples, design process flow charts, and/or other materials depending on your needs and budget. The time to act is now, and it’s easy. Just contact Cindy and let her know you are interested in Onsite Inventor Consultation.
